The reason is over the years the unit has (like other services and Govt agencies) patronised and facilitated functioning of such unlawful slaughter houses, 

In an incicident of slightest misfortune, the 'present practice' shall fail all reasons of 'procedures'

In hindsight this type of 'risk-taking' will only be called foolishness and be judged as unproffessional conduct where wellbeing if the ship's coy was being played-with beyond individual capabilities or brief.

What needs to be fine- Future RFP  has been built to cover certain norms. Attempt shall be made to make provisions of the contract more stringent. 

This became evident when the units request for sourcing frozen chicken from  vendors  registered with  FSSAI for meat processing turned down by the CFA viz NOIC 

Such occurances are not unheard-of in the IN. Ship's on prolonged deployment invariably turn to egg as a source of protein based nutrition.

Recommendations. In view..

My subordinates have very limited exposure in either managing this situation or comprehending the

 enormity of such risky practice

Letter from Parent : Komalika

Respected Sir /Madam,

The mere fact that I am required to render a few lines about my daughter, Komalika,  is like an invitation to write an autobiography. My belief, that, 'the child is the father of man', makes this proposition possible. I have held this belief for long, that we shape 'our own' destiny by relating and evaluating the teachings of our parents, teachers and the environment in which we grow. Therefore,  my attempt during the childhood of my daughters, was to teach less and create an environment of learning. Towards this, I attempted to tell more 'real' stories than fables during bedtime or on dining table. Therefore, the desire of Komalika to volunteer as an 'exchange' student may have its seed in the narratives of Kon-Tiki, Hiram Bingham or Taro&Jiro. No less contribution would be on account of the voracious reading habits of her elder sister Supriya. Their bonding ensured that Komalika was always up to the scratch for the adventures narrated by her sister.   

From a very early childhood Komalika displayed a keen senses of compassion towards animals, birds and the less fortunate. Invariably this would result in pleas to bring such animals in distress home. This was summarily rejected in the hope that she will outgrow the sentiments. Many years later, after patiently biding her time, we agreed to keep a dog at our home. Komalika has been more happier since then. Patience is her virtue and self belief an asset. These qualities have made her the darling of the household. Her caring nature for her friends have resulted in a strong bonds with no one 'more-favorite' than the other. The standards and yardsticks of parenting have changed radically due to emerging technologies. The fact that our daughters consistently out-thought and out-smarted us at parenting issues very early in their respective ways have resulted in both becoming self reliant and self assured at human values and soft skills. My frequent narration of a real life story of a French family consisting of grandparents, parents and children of school-going age on an oceanic voyage has remained a favorite with Komalika. That the children on the voyage do not go to school but learn skills of navigation, money exchange, management of food and water, and other life skills are a favorite concept of sense of independence. I only hope the discipline required to engage with the elements of nature are also equally well understood by Komal. Thus it is our cherished duty to facilitate the opportunity for her to undertake an exchange program – which we believe, will be a journey of self revelation for her. 

Komalika knows to take adversity head-on. This is a trait she has acquired from her mother. Typically whenever Komalika is silent it is an easy indicator of her being in disagreement with whatever instructions have been given. Voluntary participation in (mini) marathons, taking part in school soccer practice immediately after emerging out of an injury or going for numerous hiking or organized trips have satisfied us that she can volunteer for challenging assignments as well as overcome difficult situations with a level headed presence of mind. She has, over the years, displayed enough caliber for us to believe that she can adjust and thrive in an new environment. Her ability to manage her own self with whatever resources are at her disposal – convince us;  that she shall honorably discharge herself in representing her country.  Her all round reading skills convince us that she shall provide a true reflection of our multicultural society and act as an ambassador for Indian morals and values. 

Despite a four year gap, Komalika has consistently displayed a sense of maturity at par with her sister who is four years elder than her.  She revels in a free and fair environment. She possesses a keen and discerning eye for things which are amiss in the environment she stays in. Therefore, we trust her to be able to make herself proud in any environment. We are sure she will faithfully share her experience on the assurance of our non-involvement during the tenure of her exchange.  We are sure that which ever family hosts her, it will be an experience of kindness for them.        

We wish Komalika the very best and assure the sponsors and the hosts that they shall forever cherish the association with Komalika. 

The Allure of the Left Liberal

Your public views and opinions (borrowed as they appear now) ... are inconsistent with your personal philosophies...

The views that you are presently sharing on FB are what are known as leftist-liberal views.... they are always appealing at your age.... because they are true &genuine.....

However, they are not practical !!! 

Coz... if you scratch a little you will find your love for *branded* products & services are inconstant with the leftist-liberal values !!

That means if you love McDonald, Gucci, Chanel, 5*, etc.... you actually are against leftist-liberal ideology. ...

Most students holding leftist-liberal values finally end up serving Multinational companies, Corporates, Media houses, Business, Banking..... not because they don't like leftist-liberal values... but because they *don't pay*

As time progresses the desire for job, security, ownership, travel, status in society overtake leftist-liberal *dreams*... for a hungry stomach is not worth ant dream !!!

But doing the right thing at the right time *is a must* ..... so I'll RECOMMEND you to hold the leftist-liberal ideology and values....

Only be sure you don't get *stuck* to it.... there is no end to social transformation. .. the poor and dis empowered are always looking for *somebody* to bail them out.... 

Sadly - mostly - those championing leftist-liberal ideologies are themselves leading lavish lifestyles.... and are visible.... TRUE leftist-liberal are obscure and working hard in unknown and remote places in penury and hunger - to show solidarity..... but finally it is a *personal* call....

USA the birthplace of leftist-liberal thoughts gave it up first... embraced Capitalism

 Germany the Crucible of  leftist-liberal ideology gave it up... followed Capitalism 

Russia the Mother of *leftist* implementation failed and now follows Capitalism

China talks of  *leftist* values but follows Capitalist measures

Trumps victory has justifiably upset many... but then leftist-liberal are unable to accept democratic decision. ... 

Today across the world leftist-liberal have proven to be a thorn in any kind of progress.... always challenging all authority... crib crib crib .... *but NEVER provide a solution*.. ..

Unfortunately (!) they are RIGHT all the time.... *but never have an ALTERNATIVE* !!!

महाकवि राजशेखर

राजशेखर (विक्रमाब्द 930- 977 तक) काव्यशास्त्र के पण्डित थे। वे गुर्जरवंशीय नरेश महेन्द्रपाल प्रथम एवं उनके बेटे महिपाल के गुरू एवं मंत्री थे। उनके पूर्वज भी प्रख्यात पण्डित एवं साहित्यमनीषी रहे थे। काव्यमीमांसा उनकी प्रसिद्ध रचना है। समूचे संस्कृत साहित्य में कुन्तक और राजशेखर ये दो ऐसे आचार्य हैं जो परंपरागत संस्कृत पंडितों के मानस में उतने महत्त्वपूर्ण नहीं हैं जितने रसवादी या अलंकारवादी अथवा ध्वनिवादी हैं। राजशेखर लीक से हट कर अपनी बात कहते हैं और कुन्तक विपरीत धारा में बहने का साहस रखने वाले आचार्य हैं।

राजशेखर महाराष्ट्र देशवासी थे और यायावर वंश (क्षत्रिय) में उत्पन्न हुए थे किन्तु उनका जीवन बंगाल में बीता। इनकी माता का नाम शिलावती तथा पिता का नाम दुहिक या दुर्दुक था और वे महामंत्री थे। इनके प्रपितामह अकालजलद का विरद 'महाराष्ट्रचूड़ामणि' था। राजशेखर की पत्नी चौहान कुल की क्षत्राणी विदुषी महिला थी जिसका नाम अवंतिसुंदरी था। महेंद्रपाल के उपाध्याय होने के साथ ये उसके पुत्र महीपाल के भी कृपापात्र बने रहे। इन दोनों नरेशों के शिलालेख दसवीं शताब्दी के प्रथम चरण (९०० ई. और ९१७ ई.) के प्राप्त होते हैं अत: राजशेखर का समय ८८०-९२० ई. के लगभग मान्य है।

भुवनकोश, जिसका निर्देश राजशेखर ने काव्यमीमांसा (पृ. ८९) ने स्वयं किया है और
हरिविलास, जिसका उल्लेख हेमचंद्र ने अपने काव्यानुशासन में किया है।
रीतिविषयक 'रीतिनिर्णय' नामक एक ग्रंथ का इनके नाम से और उल्लेख मिलता है, किंतु वह अप्राप्य है।

Religion

 Religion has only two facets :

1. *Spiritual*. 

This is universal and everyone for himself. 

This encompasses only common sense and thus uncommon. 

This is liberating.

2. *Ritual*.

This is bondage and slavery. *This is pure poison* and addictive.

It is an instrument of control, by some, on many (beliefs).

The point is, *to my knowledge*, presently, the route to Spiritual knowledge is irrevocably tied to rituals. And therein lies the continuum of poison bondage and slavery.
